Early clinical phase development by vocation<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nIn 1995<\/strong><\/span>, Innopharma Srl, based in Italy, became the first company to be established under the brand name of CROss Alliance\u00ae<\/sup><\/span>. Immediately thereafter, CROSS SA (1996) and CROSS Research SA (1997) were established in Switzerland.<\/p>\nCROss Alliance\u00ae<\/sup> mission was, and still is, to accompany the emerging biotech and the medium size pharmaceutical companies in the early clinical development of new potential drugs.<\/p>\nAfter the implementation of the Economical European Area in January 2002, the \u201cold continent\u201d started a powerful renewal pulled ahead by its advanced technological areas. Although Switzerland was formally out of this new established Economical Area, CROSS found itself in the centre of this \u201cEuropean Renaissance\u201d, in which it took part due to geographical and historical reasons and thanks to its specific competences in the pharmaceutical field.<\/p>\n
This scenario gave Swiss companies (especially to those able to operate in cooperation with the new surrounding reality), a strong opportunity to grow. Due to the need of highly specialized services in the clinical development, CROSS Metrics SA, a company providing a full service in data management and statistics, has been established in 2011.<\/p>\n
CROss Alliance\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0group bravely sailed through more than two decades facing positive and more complex periods, including the global economic crisis and\u00a0have grown, evolved, increased its services and quality, becoming a firmly established niche CRO in the clinical trial arena.<\/p>\nToday<\/strong><\/span>, CROss Alliance\u00ae<\/sup><\/span> provides its tailored services to a large number of pharmaceutical companies building highly motivated relationships which allow the continuous growth of both economical figures and quality.<\/p>\nIn the last few years, the group founder Alessandro Assandri, acquired 100% of CROSS\u2019 companies shares, after that, both CROSS SA and CROSS Metrics SA has been incorporated in CROSS Research SA with no loss in overall staff or services provided.<\/p>\n
The merger \u00a0has been established to simplify the corporate structure, optimise the administrative management and enhance the operations in the market.<\/p>\n
Remarkably enough, all these changes have taken place without any loss of the traditional company\u2019s soul. The intense commitment made in each project we follow, regardless of size or value, shows how personally obligated and responsible we feel towards our Customers.<\/p>\n
