July 2021 – As required by Federal Laws, CROSS activities are periodically subjected to inspections by the Competent Authority (Swissmedic), in order to verify its GCP compliance. In May 2021, Swissmedic led a two-day remote routine GCP System Inspection, in which CROSS processes, quality system and study specific implementations were thoroughly evaluated .
After the inspection’s conclusion a report was released, and only very few minor findings were raised. On the 19thJuly 2021 Swissmedic approved the Corrective Action Plan (CAPA) presented by CROSS, closing the inspection procedure.
CROSS team is really satisfied by the outcome of the inspection, which confirms once again the firmness of the quality procedures in place and the compliance with the regulations in force.
